Free gifts and feminism.
Magazines are a huge part of my life. I love how they offer so much useful advice, cover difficult topics and are just generally very pretty. Yesterday I chose Glamour and Elle magazine. Glamour because of the 20% off H&M voucher, free Nails Inc polish and the 'going out' feature- there is no such thing as too many clothes! I don't usually read Elle magazine but first things first, the incredible Emma Watson pulled me in. The fact that it is a feminism issue made it impossible for me to walk away from it. I am very excited to read the insights they have on a topic that is very close to my heart. As the front cover says I am very excited to 'Be inspired'. The free Benefit 'They're Real-push up liner' was just a bonus!
The second bag to change my life in as many weeks
Sorry about the black dot on my pics |
I first saw this bag around 6 weeks ago when I first went back to London after the summer and it was love at first sight. For some crazy reason I didn't buy it there and then, when I went back the following week to buy it they were all gone. I've been on what has felt like a wild goose chase all over London looking for this bag that stole my heart for the past 5 weeks and yesterday we were finally reunited. Our reunion was only made sweeter by the fact that I had a 20% off voucher from my Glamour magazine so I got it for £28 instead of £35. My favourite thing about this bag is the velvet (!!!) panels on the sides.
The album that hasn't sold 1.29m copies in it's first week for no reason
Yes after a week of being permanently confused as to why I hadn't fully joined the 21st century by not owning Taylor Swift's fifth album I finally caved and bought my deluxe edition last night for £14.99. I bought it from Amazon so I got my digital copy instantly, which has been on repeat for quite some time. My current favourites are Blank Space, Out Of The Woods and How You Get The Girl. I know these will change but right now I'm just so happy that I've finally understand what everyone's been going crazy over the last week and why Lena Dunham named October 27th (the album's release date) National Taylor Swift day!
