Kim Kardassian

Whether you like it or not, if you've been on the internet within the last 24 hours you will have seen Kim Kardashian and Paper Magazine's attempt to 'Break the internet' with their winter 2014 issue's photo shoot.

The first picture we were all treated to was of fearless Kim showing off the naked bum that the world is so obsessed with. Next, a more SFW pic was published showing Kim balancing a champagne glass on her backside.
And then just when we thought it was safe to return to our computers, there it was, Kim went full frontal.

On all of the Paper magazine photos Kim just drips with an infectious level of confidence. Far from slamming her for revealing her body even though she has a young child, I am praising her for being able to pose like that knowing that millions of people will be sharing those images.

So many people have been quick to jump and criticise Kim but the full frontal pic is just an extension of the whole 'Kim Kardashian' pphenomenon No part of Kim's life is private, we know all about her family, what she wears, where she goes, who she dates. The lack of privacy that surrounds Kim makes it obvious that her next step would be to do a full nude photoshoot. My interpretation of this photoshoot is that it's just a symbol of who we have made her rather than a narcissistic display.

The Paper article discusses the fact that Kim is essentially famous for being famous and it is undeniable that she is pretty talented at that.

What are your thoughts on Break the internet? Is it just overt narcissism? Let me know in the comments!
